We all know the story of Alice in Wonderland. Small girl, not happy with having to be serious all the time. She's creative in her own special way. Whenever she was in situations for the grown ups, all she wanted to do was escape. So she did. To Wonderland, her own special place. 
 But not everyone likes this version of the story. Too, well, innocent, as some would say. 
 So why don't we put that twist that we all want to see? 
 Alice is mad. Plain and simple. She knows it. Her family knows it. And all poor Alice wants to do is escape from it all. Never did she think her daydreaming and illusions would lead to this.
 But oh well.
 Life isn't always perfect, my dear.
 And she knows that most.

There are a few things you need to know about Wonderland. First off, completely misnamed. It should be Terrorland. People don't just accidentally tumble into Wonderland, it sucks them in. There is no following of cute white rabbits with pocket watches. Wonderland is dangerous and you can lose a lot more than your head if you're not careful. Second, the Hearts are in control, but they shouldn't be. The throne of Wonderland rightfully belongs to the Spade heir. But he's currently missing. Third, and probably most important, is that Madison Hatter is NOT a native of Wonderland. He was yanked through a mirror many years ago and has been trying to survive Wonderland ever since. Now he has an idealistic young Real-Worlder on his hands and a rebellion in his heart. Mad is going to remove that Heart Queen if it's the last thing he does. She's the one who stole him from his life all those years ago and he's been waiting for the moment when he can tear her life to shreds in repayment. Beautiful cover made by StormRidden **Warning** I thought it fair to warn potential readers that there is gun violence in this story.
