The bond that defied the void (book 1)

After a devastating incident causes the public to turn against him, Izuku Midoriya finds himself blamed for disasters he didn't cause and abandoned by many who once believed in him. As the pressure, loneliness, and distrust grow, he struggles to hold on to his dream of being a hero.

The only person who truly begins to understand his pain is his longtime rival, Katsuki Bakugo. After a mysterious body-swap forces them to experience each other's lives, the two develop a deeper understanding of one another and form a bond stronger than either expected.

Their world is then thrown into chaos when mysterious cosmic beings known as the Scouts arrive, warning of a threat beyond anything heroes or villains have ever faced: the Devourer, an ancient entity capable of consuming entire civilizations.

As Earth becomes a battlefield, heroes and villains-including members of the League of Villains-are forced to work together to survive. When Izuku is swallowed by one of the Devourer's monsters, he finds himself trapped in a dark realm where the Devourer tries to convince him to abandon humanity and join its cause.

Despite everything he has suffered, Izuku refuses. Drawing strength from the people who still care about him-especially Bakugo-he chooses hope over despair and fights back against the darkness The story is an emotional mix of:
