After the chaos of season 1 of shameless, the Gallagher family were living a somewhat peaceful life.

Fiona was still in Chicago after she backed out on leaving with Steve.

Lip had now come to terms with the fact that Karen was someone who liked to sleep around, to put it into respectful terms.

Ian was now more open with his sexuality.

Debbie was officially the local babysitter, yes a child shouldn't be trusted with children but you gotta respect the hustle.

Carl was...Carl just a little more grown up I guess.

Liam was...again just Liam. He's a baby there's not really much to say.

Mariella was...making do with the life that she was lead into. She was deep into work whether that be at the diner or with Daniel, Kai and Dion.

She still had heard nothing from the man that she loved and as much as her friends told her to move on. She couldn't, she needed to be with Jay one more time.

But she wouldn't tell anyone that.
