Vaidehi Singhal was a woman of few words. She woke up every morning, went to work, came back home, and slept. On weekends, she would watch low-budget movies on her TV. Every first Sunday of the month, she would go over her expenses and read a book. That is what her life was, and she had no will to alter her routines. Sure, she had the occasional drink with her girls when work drained her too much, but her dating life had been on hold since pre-historic times. She firmly believed that not being interested in a guy was the actual secret to success. . . Satyam Singhania was a 29 year old married man. However, considering that his 'wife' was a 19 year old he was blackmailed into marrying by his parents, he felt more like a caretaker with each passing day. These two weren't romantically interested in each other at all. In fact, Avni- the 19 year old in question- had accused him of being a weirdo on the night of their marriage- and Satyam had told her, horrified at said accusation, that he had no intention of ever touching her- and he would divorce her as soon as he got control of his family's tech empire- which he had been developing for the past 4 years. . . All is going exactly as it is supposed to; Avni is happy that her husband is more like a grumpy guardian with seemingly endless money, and doesn't care what she does all day. Satyam is solely focused on the legal acquisition of the company that was rightfully his and marketing it globally, which demanded even more from him. Vaidehi was content with the little life she had built for herself- one with peace and quiet. . . Until one day, on her way to work, Vaidehi hits Satyam with her car. And calls him dramatic for yelling too much, when according to her- it was his fault. Well, mostly his fault. *************** Avni is NOT the FMC here. The main characters are Vaidehi and Satyam.

[PARTITION ROMANCE] 18+ She is a mute. He is a politician. And 1947 is burning around them. After surviving a brutal assault and losing her only family, Vrishty, a voiceless Hindu girl, is left alone in a town tearing itself apart. Hunted by the man who first claimed her, she hides in silence, until Meer, an emerging Muslim politician, becomes the only barrier between her and the chaos outside. Bound by guilt and an unexpected pull, Meer begins to realise his vicinity with the girl. But the nation which divided amongst the communal hate, will it be able to save these burning interfaith hearts, alive? __________________________ "In Islam" he continued quietly. "You cannot marry unless both agree... and unless both are Muslim" His expression twisted, a deep aching conflict. I shook my head, looking at him. As if almost pleading him. Noo...please....
