We Both Died

Onyx Ardeaux knew from a young age that perfection was the only way to escape the chaos of her childhood. She finished school with a degree in teaching the arts, left the country, got engaged, and seemed to be on the path to the life she always wanted.

However, after catching her fiancé in an unforgivable act, faced with the fact that her father is dead, and in a confrontation with the childhood she tried to forget, it all becomes too much. She begins to spiral. Everything she always thought she wanted or needed, she starts to question.

She starts to wonder whether she is living the life she wants or the one people need to be envious of.
