The Family We Never Planned

Charlotte Austin believed her life was already complete.

A single mother to a four-year-old girl, she had built her entire world around Luna. Between work, a busy routine, and the responsibilities she had carried alone for years, there was little room left to think about love. And, to be honest, she was no longer looking for it.

Engfa Waraha wasn't looking for anyone either.

Dedicated to her career as a pediatrician, she spent her days caring for children and helping families through their most difficult moments. She was happy with the life she had built, but there was a quiet emptiness inside her that even the longest shifts couldn't fill.

Then Luna got sick.

And little by little, through colorful drawings, unexpected messages, movie nights, birthdays, shared smiles, and feelings that appear when least expected, Charlotte and Engfa begin to realize that some people enter our lives so naturally that it's impossible to imagine what life was like before them.

They weren't looking for a family.

But perhaps love has plans of its own.
