In the world of The Boys, power means everything. Now, with super-powered individuals who are deemed "Supes," while heroes to the world, are actually corrupt celebrities managed by the mega-corporation known as Vought International. We all know the story about a CIA-backed vigilante squad, The Boys, led by William "Billy" Butcher, whose sole purpose is to expose and destroy Vought International and its psychotic premier superhero and leader of the seven, Homelander. Homelander leads the group known as The Seven, Vought's premier superhero team. Behind the heroic facade, most Supes are corrupt, arrogant, unstable, and selfish, causing massive collateral damage. The entire system is built on Compound V, a serum originally developed during World War II that artificially grants superpowers. One particular individual stands out from the rest. A young woman, given a highly powerful and unstable dose of compound V before she's even born, rises in the world. They call her "The Supe Queen," and after an encounter with Billy Butcher, he sees an opportunity to take down Homelander and Vought, once and for all.
