The thing about grief is that it's different for everyone who experiences it. Some people have random bursts of anger, some feel unbearable sadness, and some feel empty. Jean never thought he'd have to figure out how grief showed in him, but even the unexpected can happen.
Jean navigates his grief a bit differently than others. Through his eulogy, Jean relives his college life, remembering from the moment he met her, arguing with an RA, to the moment he heard her voice for the last time, and all the small moments in between. At the time, he never knew how much those memories would mean to him or how much he would cling to them, but as his grief settled, they were the only thing that grounded him.
