After I Said Amen

Scarlet Mary Hayes has spent years praying for the same thing.

Every night. Every Sunday. Every tear stained prayer.

"God please make me normal"

When she leaves her southern state for college, she promises herself this year will be no different.
No confusion. No temptation. No girls.

But after a late night breakdown leaves her stranded in the middle of the new city she now calls home, Scarlet whispers one final desperate prayer.
