19-year-old Nigerian (Yoruba) - American Cyrus Adeyemi just got fired from his office job in New York, and he's running out of money, time, and the energy to pretend his life is going anywhere.

Then his cousin Eniola calls with an offer: a job interview at her workplace. The pay is great. The housing is covered. The catch? It's in a town called Noverbridge-a sleepy, strange little place in rural Michigan that Cyrus has never heard of, surrounded by a mountain range the locals won't talk about after dark.
