A hundred years later, Sariel returned to the heavens, leaving the remaining warriors behind to continue their sacred mission on Earth. But before departing the mortal realm, Sariel left a piece of his own flesh and blood behind-the ultimate Grandminister and protector of the Chains of Guardians. She sealed this legacy with a devastating curse: no one must ever discover its true identity, or death would be the absolute punishment.

In the presence of Sariel, the Ministers swore a solemn oath to shield her child from those who sought to harm it. She entrusted the Chains to their care-most importantly, her only child, who is destined to become the next Grandminister of the Guardians.
