"Well whats wrong?" asks her mom scarcely.
The doctor then turns to Anastasia and says "Anastasia De La Perpunos, You Have...... Cancer, I am truly sorry."
Choked up through her tears she manages to say "Mom, If I don't make it through this which most people don't, I just want you to know I love you."

Her stepfather took custody of her after being abused my her mother and her new husband. He was a career military man. He already had her passport and everything for her to travel with him. So.she basically lived on military bases all her life. Mostly out of the country, so she learned various languages and knew about a lot of different cultures. She attended various universities and worked part time as a tour guide. She went between England and France mostly. Sometimes she would be asked to fill in in Greece or Italy for the tours. Her father was making sure she had a place on base with him until he was rotated back to the US. He was holding on until she graduated from both colleges. Which would hopefully be soon.
