Search Warrant

Despite knowing one another since childhood, both Anya Hargrove and Jake Griffin have turned a bit competitive towards one another, once they discovered that they both were desirous to join the NYPD. After becoming officers, Anya gets an assignment to go undercover for her first mission (unknowing that she will be gone for a decade). Anya and and Jake realize their mutual attraction, and give in to their passions, ultimately spending a wonderful night together.

Two months into her undercover assignment, Anya discovers she is pregnant with Jake's baby. Determined to keep the pregnancy, as well as keep her unborn child safe, she ultimately hands the baby over to one of the women of the Russian gang she has been tasked with infiltrating.

Ten years pass, and Anya's assignment ends; Panina, the woman she trusted to keep her daughter safe, is killed when the SWAT team storms the gang's house, and Anya fiercely protects her daughter, finally managing to tell her the truth. When she discovers that Jake, her daughter's father, has been shot, she is amazed that they are being kept at the same hospital, and the pair reunites, thus bringing the family together, though their future is uncertain.
