Ignored, But Loved

Everyone in college knew Reynard Hayes.not because he was friendly, people knew him because he was never cared.

He Walked through crowed hallways with cold eyes and unreadable expression. He ignored conversation, avoided parties and rarely answered messages. Proffessor respected him, students feared him, nobody truly understood him.

Including his own girlfriend Aria Morreti.
Aria had been with him for almost a year, yet she waited for a simple "Good Morning" text that never came.
In college, he passed her with brief nod.
At lunch he sat alone, during lecture his attention remained fixed on the book instead of her. At home things weren't different.
Phone calls went answered, message stayed on delivered. Days passed without proper conversation still Aria stayed.

Because beneath the icy silence , she believed there was a heart worth finding.
What she didn't know was that he wasn't ignoring her because he didn't love her.

He was ignoring everyone because he was fighting. He battled, he never spokes about.
