When the dragon Acnologia attacked Tenrou Island, Fairy Tail's legendary First Master, Mavis Vermilion, cast Fairy Sphere to protect the guild's strongest members. The spell saved their lives-but sealed them away from the world in suspended animation for 7 years. To the rest of Fiore, they simply disappeared. One year later, the absence of Fairy Tail's greatest mages has left a void throughout the kingdom. Dark guilds have grown bolder, dangerous missions remain unanswered, and the guild once known for protecting everyone can no longer respond. Then, seemingly from nowhere, a new guild rises.
