AOE-Book One: The Unpredictable North

In the northern province of Skyrim, something long thought to exist only in myth returns-and with it, reality begins to lose its certainty. What begins as a regional crisis quickly becomes something far stranger: accounts of the same events no longer agree. Imperial reports, Dominion intelligence, and local testimony all describe battles, deaths, and outcomes differently, as if history itself cannot settle on what actually happened.

As contradictions multiply, a deeper question emerges: if every record of an event is true in some version, then what is truth at all? The Age of Echoes begins not with the end of the world, but with the quiet collapse of its agreement with itself-and in the north, no two stories of the same moment are ever quite the same.
