Severus Snape and the Never-ending Detention

Let's be entirely realistic about the situation: a clash with a rabid giant snake is a bridge too far, even for a seasoned Potions Master.

And so, Severus Snape finds himself standing at the very gates of eternity. Unfortunately, celestial bureaucracy shows no mercy, and since Snape simply cannot bring himself to decide where he would prefer to spend the rest of forever, he is promptly sent straight back.

These chaotic reincarnations are meant to help him reach a final decision - or, alternatively, drive the mortal world to sheer despair.

Neither Hogwarts nor Professor McGonagall and his former colleagues are spared his return. Especially since Severus Snape is by no means returning to his old stomping ground in the manner that was originally intended.

His old acquaintance Lucius Malfoy, too, is in for a thoroughly rude awakening. As the unsuspecting master of a chronically bad-tempered new house-elf - who flatly refuses to toe the line - Lucius watches his peaceful, aristocratic existence dissolve into a living nightmare.

And to top it all off, the universe's third attempt spits Severus Snape out right into the terrifying heart of the Muggle world.
