Elena Gilbert takes the cure and leaves Mystic Falls behind, desperate to figure out who she is outside of the life she's always known.

She doesn't expect that journey to lead her straight into Dean Winchester's path-or into a world of hunts, monsters, and Pagan gods. Dean doesn't know what to make of the girl with haunted eyes and too many secrets, and Elena definitely doesn't expect to find comfort in a man who carries just as much pain as she does.
