Death and the Fox: Volume 2

After surviving betrayal, separation, and the awakening of powers neither of them fully understand, Kuzuno Zenko leaves the Fox Realm alongside Kuroyasha and the Demon Ogre princess Murasaki.
Their destination is the mysterious Tanuki Realm-a hidden world ruled by the mischievous yet wise Goddess Minoyama Daimyojin.

For Kuzuno, the journey is a chance to become stronger after being defeated by her sister Kayo. For Kuroyasha, it is the beginning of discovering secrets surrounding his strange powers and the mysterious shikigami that have watched him since birth. For Murasaki, it becomes an opportunity to forge friendships and uncover her own path.

Under the guidance of the Ice Goddess Tsurara, Kuzuno begins brutal training that awakens the dormant ice powers sleeping within her bloodline. As her tails begin to appear one by one, she slowly transforms into something no fox has ever become before-an Ice Fox.
Meanwhile, Kuroyasha continues his duties as a Hachiman while struggling to control the terrifying power hidden within him. As his connection to Kuzuno deepens through the Fox Link, fragments of a forgotten destiny begin surfacing.

While peace seems possible within the Tanuki Realm, danger looms beyond its borders. Kayo continues her pursuit of power within the Fox Realm, ancient forces begin moving in the shadows, and the mysterious Dark Nine-Tails grows ever closer to awakening.
