Defective Orders ✦ Hunter x OC ✦ bad batch

Jedi Knight Vaela Rynn has already lost too much to the war on Anaxes. After the destruction of her squad, she is ordered to join an experimental unit of clone commandos known only as Clone Force 99 - soldiers the Republic calls defective, but who survive where no one else can.
Vaela expects disobedience, chaos, and another mission doomed to end in blood. What she does not expect is Hunter: guarded, relentless, and far more difficult to ignore than he should be. As the battle against the Separatists deepens and old grief collides with dangerous new attachment, Vaela finds herself caught between duty and instinct, loyalty and loss.
With secrets buried at the heart of Anaxes and the war demanding more than she has left to give, Vaela must decide who she can trust - and what it truly means to survive in a galaxy built on obedience.
