Amarbail

This is a fan-made alternate ending to Umera Ahmed's beloved novel 'Amarbail'. Written in Roman Urdu, the story picks up from the moment Aleeza leaves the room after Judith reveals the truth-that Umer loved her and, in a drunken state, confessed his feelings on the night of Aleeza and Junaid's engagement.

I am not a professional writer, so I may not be able to capture the characters as brilliantly as Umera Ahmed did, but I will do my best. While I deeply admire and appreciate the original ending, the part of me that loves Umer simply cannot come to terms with his death. That is what inspired me to write this alternate version.
