I'm just an NPC!!

This story follows a background NPC who understood the assignment, declined the assignment, filed the assignment under "Yuu's problem," and went home.

While other people chased destiny, heroism, and character development, this individual chose the far more ambitious goal of making it to next Tuesday.

They saw magical disasters, ancient curses, emotional breakdowns, family trauma, surprise kidnappings, property damage, and enough unresolved psychological issues to qualify as a public health crisis. Then they exercised the rarest power in fiction:

*Common sense.*

No dramatic speeches. No heroic sacrifices. No "I'll help you no matter what." The moment the protagonist's theme music started playing, they quietly turned around and walked in the opposite direction at a brisk but dignified pace.

This is not a story about an NPC mingling with the main cast despite their best efforts.

This is a story about dodging the main cast before they can make eye contact with you.
