When the boundaries between worlds collapse, legendary heroes and mythic figures are torn from their fading realms and pulled into a single modern-day town known as the Crossing. King Arthur and Merlin become the foundation of a fragile new community, assigning roles and rebuilding order as more displaced legends arrive. Maid Marian becomes the hardened sheriff, Little John her loyal deputy, and Joan of Arc the town's dispatch voice of courage and reason.
But one legend is missing.
Robin Hood, separated during the crossing, is lost-and presumed dead. As the town grows, strange events begin to suggest he may still be alive, watching from the shadows. What no one realizes is that Robin has been found first-not by his friends, but by a mysterious entity known only as the Storykeeper, who feeds him lies about betrayal, abandonment, and forgotten loyalty.
As Arthur strives to keep order and Merlin senses a deeper magic at work, Marian is forced to confront grief she thought she had buried. When Robin finally reappears, he is no longer the hero she remembers-but something far more dangerous.
Now the town must survive not only the arrival of new legends, but the breaking point of one of its own.
Because in a world where stories refuse to die...
even heroes can become the thing they once fought against.
