Mythology was never taken seriously in the modern world. Commonly dismissed as folklore, fairy tales, or cautionary stories, most people didn't believe in myths. After all, there was often evidence disproving the existence of the creatures and gods described within them.

And yet, if so many cultures shared similar stories, if so many civilizations separated by oceans and centuries spoke of the same beings, there had to be some truth buried beneath them, didn't there?

Stories rarely survive for thousands of years without a reason.

Most little girls eventually grow out of believing in fairy tales and magic.

Most people grow out of believing there is more to the world than what can be seen, measured, and explained.

Most people.

Their perceptions hardened by reality. Their wonder dulled by certainty.

You couldn't say you were one of them.

Especially not when you discovered that your favorite band, Bangtan Sonyeondan, were wolves in sheep's clothing.
