Detective Han Jisung is investigating a series of murders that began two years ago.
Despite the large number of victims, the police still don't know who the killer is.
Each case is meticulously planned. Evidence is scarce, leads go nowhere, and the killer always stays one step ahead.

Jisung is convinced that one person is behind all the murders.

He hates him.

And yet he is fascinated by him.

The killer is intelligent, patient, and plans everything months in advance. Sometimes it even seems as if he wants Jisung to follow him.
As if he were deliberately leaving small clues behind.

The first murder took place on September 14, exactly on Jisung's 23rd birthday.
