Adam and his family lived in Salem in the 1700s. They were circus performers and the people loved their shows. But a group of people disliked them. They started spreading false lies about them. They even burned down their circus tent. Adam and his family were banished from the city and stranded on an island that would later become Pleasure Island. Adam and Michael began building an amusement park.

But hatred and betrayal grew in his heart. He asked Jack to kidnap the villagers' children and take them to the island. In revenge, children are transformed into donkeys, which are then sold to salt mines. Adam and his family lives now in a small town called Danville. They're still circus performers and they still have shows. Everyone in town is talking about the circus who arrived a snowy December day.
