June Parker has spent her whole life keeping people at a careful distance - close enough to get by, never close enough to be hurt. She doesn't expect much from anyone, least of all from a boy like Noah Bennett. Noah has never wanted anything the way he wants her attention. The problem is, she won't give it. Not easily, not for free, not just because he's used to getting what he wants. And maybe that's exactly why he can't stop trying. What begins as stolen glances and reluctant proximity turns into something neither of them can explain - late nights that go too long, silences that say more than words, a pull neither of them asked for and both of them feel anyway. Noah starts becoming someone he doesn't recognize, someone softer, someone who shows up. June starts letting her guard down one inch at a time, terrified of how much she wants to. Every glance lingers a little too long. Every almost-touch feels like falling. And somewhere between his patience and her resistance, they fall into something neither one is ready to name out loud. She feels like home. He feels like the one risk worth taking.

[PARTITION ROMANCE] 18+ She is a mute. He is a politician. And 1947 is burning around them. After surviving a brutal assault and losing her only family, Vrishty, a voiceless Hindu girl, is left alone in a town tearing itself apart. Hunted by the man who first claimed her, she hides in silence, until Meer, an emerging Muslim politician, becomes the only barrier between her and the chaos outside. Bound by guilt and an unexpected pull, Meer begins to realise his vicinity with the girl. But the nation which divided amongst the communal hate, will it be able to save these burning interfaith hearts, alive? __________________________ "In Islam" he continued quietly. "You cannot marry unless both agree... and unless both are Muslim" His expression twisted, a deep aching conflict. I shook my head, looking at him. As if almost pleading him. Noo...please....
