Rumi & Joel

Rumi is a sweet girl from a family of civil rights activists that are very clear about what they expect of her. Joel is a nice guy from a wealthy family that has no issue imposing their will on anyone, including him. When they meet, the chemistry is as instantaneous as the longing that they have for one another. But Rumi's family isn't going go for her bringing home a white guy, let alone one from a local family that they have been fighting against for longer than either have even been born. And Joel is no better predicament seeing as how his family has already chosen his wife and mapped out his life. They've never outwardly said it, but they're as racist as they tried to raise him to be. It's too dangerous for them to be together, yet they can't stay away from each other.

Will the piling bodies, the familial disputes, or the blatant inevitability be the death of them? Or they can change this age old Shakespearean catastrophe before it takes both of their lives?
