After a car accident that leaves him with no parents, Jisung is faced with an uphill battle-healing. When he's forced to live with his aunt, who reminds the grieving boy that he is the cause of his parents death, he begins to find healing impossible. Unfortunately for Jisung, these things were only the beginning of his suffering, as school bullies and a "friend" with nefarious intentions leave him with the kind of trauma that beats down one's personality & fosters self-blame.

Jisung copes with it the only way he knows how-self destruction. Despite the awful way drugs, alcohol, and self harming make him feel, he's convinced there will never be a way out. So relentless self destruction becomes his routine.

Then he runs into Minho.

Minho doesn't try to "save" him, & it's different. Refreshing. Minho sees Jisung, beyond the damage & self destructive behavior, & doesn't look away. With Minho around, Jisung begins to believe that maybe, just maybe, happiness wasn't far out of his reach like he once believed.

For the first time, Jisung begins to let go of the idea that he was only meant to suffer, & instead allows himself to consider the idea that maybe he wasn't beyond healing.

OR

Jisung runs into Minho at one of the lowest points in his life, & somehow, slowly, things get better.
