Before time began, before the first star burned or the first breath was drawn, twelve concepts governed all of existence from a void beyond perception. Time. Emotions. End. Beginning. Reality. Space. Energy. Knowledge. Order. Chaos. Gravity. Change.
They controlled everything. Felt nothing.
Until End asked a question that none of them could answer.
What does it feel like to live knowing you will end?
So they chose to find out. Twelve concepts. Twelve human lives. Zero memories of what they truly are.
Now they are children in the kingdom of Aetherion - nobles and orphans, princes and runaways, doctor's sons and builder's daughters - growing up without knowing that the forces sustaining all of existence are living among ordinary people, going to school, falling in love and figuring out what it means to be small.
At the center of it all is Aion - lazy, silly, unbothered - who has absolutely no idea he is time itself. And Affectia, a princess who loved him long before either of them were born, hoping he'll find his way to her on his own.
Chronicles of Aion is a story about power and vulnerability, eternity and ordinary moments, and what happens when existence itself decides that feeling something - anything - is worth becoming human for.
