Long before Buffy Summers was called, there was another Slayer.

Chosen centuries ago to fight the forces of darkness, she was everything a Slayer was meant to be-strong, fearless, and destined to die in battle. But when she crossed paths with Angelus, the infamous vampire with a soul yet to be found, fate took a cruel turn.

He didn't kill her.

He turned her.

For centuries she existed as something impossible: a Slayer trapped in a vampire's body. But she wasn't like the others. The sun couldn't burn her. Holy water couldn't weaken her. She became something entirely new-a creature neither human nor vampire, feared by both worlds.

Now, decades later, she arrives in Sunnydale alongside Spike and Drusilla with one purpose: destroy the new Slayer before she can become a threat.

To get close to Buffy Summers, she enrolls at Sunnydale High and slips effortlessly into the Scooby Gang. The plan is simple-earn their trust, learn their weaknesses, and strike when they least expect it.

But Sunnydale isn't what she expected.

Neither is Buffy.

As old loyalties begin to crack and buried memories of the woman she once was refuse to stay dead, she finds herself caught between the monster she's become and the Slayer she used to be.

Because the greatest threat to Sunnydale may not be the vampire who walks in the sun-

It may be the fact that she's starting to remember what it means to be human.

She came to Sunnydale to kill the Slayer.

She might end up dying to save her instead.
