As the pogues' journey begins, fighting and searching for the gold, conflict not only rises in their adventure, but internally for some as well. Uncovered and buried feelings start to come to light, and JJ and Pope don't know how much longer they can hold back-- especially from each other.

NOTE: This story will (somewhat) follow season 1's storyline and part of season 2. Some scenes from the show will be altered, added, or left out. This story will contain angst and will be a slow burn (kind of) and will deal with some heavy topics, like internal/societal homophobia, abuse, alcoholism, substance abuse, and depression.

ANOTHER NOTE: There is no chance in hell Riara is happening! Rafe is nothing but an abusive dick to the pogues, including Kie, and is also way too old. Kiara doesn't need a man or a partner at all. (TBH still deciding what to do for her in that aspect... but it won't be Rafe)
