Osric Keane thought moving from Point Pleasant, West Virginia, to the quiet town of Gravesfield, Connecticut, would be the biggest adventure of his life.

But on the last day before summer vacation, a chase after a mysterious owl leads them through an ancient doorway... and into a world where magic is real, monsters roam free, and being "weird" might just be the greatest strength of all.

Together they'll meet witches, demons, outlaws, and kings, uncover ancient secrets buried deep within the Boiling Isles, and discover that sometimes the family you find is stronger than the one you leave behind.
