This story describes the way isabella's 5 brothers and father have never been there for her, emotionally and physically.
You would expect them to be there during ice skating award ceremonies, ice skating training, school, and but of course not.
Why? Because she is the reason their mother is dead.
That is what they believe, that is the truth, or is it an excuse to blame her and not feel guilty?
Isabella has always kept to her self, because she learnt the hard way that no one in the house she used to call home, loves, wants or needs her around.
She keeps quiet and out of everyones way, not wanting to hear the hurtful words "i hate you!" or "i wish you died not mother!" And "Your the reason mother died" and much worse...
She'd sit in the furthest seat and watch as 6 people be a family without her. Make jokes, laugh and gift eachother on every holaday whilst she went to bed with nothing.
Through out this story you get see how isabella changes from a quiet girl to a strong woman, not seeking for her brothers love or aproval any more.
Slowly her brothers and father start to notice the change and fight for her love, like she did them.
But what if she doesnt want them anymore, what will her brothers do?
