Ordained Defiance

Defiance, Missouri is a small, small town where nothing ever seems to happen. On the rare off-chance that something does happen, it usually spells trouble for Abelard Arbogast and his family. When a stranger with a history tied to the town shows up, Abelard takes it upon himself to reintegrate them into the community, as is his duty.
Of course, this turns out to be easier said than done.
Little does Abelard realize that this apparent troublemaker is about to change his life in many ways. Ways that will have him questioning not just his choices in life and his own morality, but most importantly of all, question who he really is.
