28 Dates

Cassie is determined to find love, even if it means surviving twenty eight dates in one month.

Warren is determined to make sure she does not get hurt, even if it means watching her fall for someone else.

I surged forward, grabbing his arm and dragging him into my bedroom. We both collapsed onto the bed, facing the tv. We were close enough that I could hear him breathing.

I leaned closer, becoming cold underneath the fan that spun violently above us.

I was aware that it was crossing a line, and probably shouldn't. But I couldn't bring myself to move.

The space between us seemed to slowly evaporate, but neither of us seemed to mind.
