The principal of Wren Tavis' high school made sure that his students knew what they were getting into after learning ended. Life began. What Wren was not prepared for though, was the consequences of creating a Blemish on society. Any sort of mistake involving government would get her thrown out of her home to work as a slave for the most powerful family around - the Knoughts. The old couple were egotistical maniacs, and their son was absolutely horrid. Wren was determined not to try anything that would result in a problem, but after her former friend Lina tempted her to do something unforgivable, she had done the opposite: she had created a Blemish.
