Does Katniss live or die? Prim's fate is in your hands, as you vote in the comments for chapter three. You need to have read at least the first book to really understand the story from Prim's p.o.v. comment if you want me to include a chapter that explains The Hunger Games, and details I left out :) ~Spoilers~

The Hunger Games: What If Katniss Never Existed?
What if Katniss had never been born? On the day of the mine explosion Prim had been sick, forcing her father to take the day off work. With her father surviving the explosion, Prim realized how dangerous his job was and Prim demanded he teach her how to hunt incase he didn't get lucky again. Now Prim has a set of twins as younger siblings, Angelica and Gabe who are nine years old. With a family to help feed and protect, the worst thing that could happen would be for Prim to get picked on her first year eligible. Of course, the worst things always tend to happen. Will Prim survive the 74 annual Hunger Games? I DO NOT OWN THESE CHARACTERS, I MADE A FEW UP BUT THE MAJORITY ARE SUZAN COLLINS! "Will you stay with me?" He asks as if he's unsure. I look him in the eyes and kiss his hand. "Always." I whisper. Book 1 Peeta loved her first and she loved him second, or was it all just a ploy to survive? They were thrown into the games together, but only one could come out. . or so they said. Book 2 Katniss and Peeta have managed to survive the hunger games. But what the Capitol will throw at them next will require more then just wits and cunning. Will they make it through the rough waters, or will they crash and slowly fall apart? Book 3 You can only live with half of yourself for so long before you break. . or at least that's what people have been telling her. The Hunger Games: A Change In Heart
What if Peeta and Katniss never teamed up? What if Katniss finds trust in the most unlikely person? When Katniss volunteers for her sister, her only thought is to make it back to Prim. But what if another tribute catches her eye? Can she survive the Hunger Games? Can she figure out her mixed feelings for Cato? From the book: "So I want to know what you think about something. " I say slowly. He looks up curiously. " What is it Katniss? " he asks looking into my eyes. The 136th Hunger Games
When Kira Blackwood's name is reaped, she knows she's screwed. How is she supposed to survive in a fight to death with twenty-three other tributes, all of whom want to get out alive as much as she does? Despite secretly training for the Games in the cow pastures surrounding her home, and being pretty handy with a knife, Kira's kind heart may be the thing that holds her back the most. However, as she navigates through the opulent world of the Capitol, and then the arena itself, Kira starts to realize that maybe, just maybe, it's not the dead she should pity, but the Victor. After all, no one ever really wins the Hunger Games. Survives, sure. But wins? Never. ~~+~~ Please Note: This is set in a world where the 2nd Rebellion failed. All usurpers were executed (except those pesky star-crossed lovers, who knows where they ran off to), District 13 was destroyed for good (but District 12 was rebuilt, on the basis that the Capitol realized that it actually really needed coal), and the Hunger Games were reinstated. Little did she know that everyone now hates her. She's been living in a jail cell in the capitol and only eats once a week. Her life isn't very good.
