Mara Lawson has a plan.

At twenty, the University of Miami women's soccer captain is focused on championships, good grades, and impressing pro scouts. Distractions aren't part of the plan.

Then freshman striker Mia Benedetti arrives.

Fresh from Argentina, Mia is talented, reckless, and constantly challenging her captain. On the field, they clash at every turn.

Off the field, Mara is drawn to the sweet neighbor across the hall. They never meet, instead exchanging notes under the door that grow into late-night conversations, homemade empanadas, and shared playlists.

There's just one problem.

Neither realizes that the annoying teammate and the mysterious neighbor they're falling for are the same person.

As rivalry turns into something more, Mara and Mia must decide if love is worth risking their dreams-and their season.
