The Village

A TV show, social experiment or something much more sinister.

Two thousand strangers. One isolated village. One year to prove society can start again.

Journalist Eilidh Davidson thought she was volunteering for a groundbreaking television experiment. Instead, she arrives in a remote village cut off from the outside world, where every road leads back to the same place and every answer raises another question.

Among the strangers is Blair Black, the woman who broke Eilidh's heart. Forced to live side by side, old wounds quickly resurface. Blair insists the past is more complicated than Eilidh ever knew, but in a village built on secrets, trust may be the most dangerous risk of all.

As the community struggles to build a new society from scratch, tensions rise. Food must be earned, power must be negotiated, and every decision carries consequences. Friendships fracture, loyalties shift, and when villagers begin to disappear, Eilidh becomes convinced that the experiment they signed up for is hiding something far darker.

With surveillance closing in and the truth buried beneath carefully constructed lies, Eilidh and Blair must decide whether they can trust each other again. Because uncovering the truth may be their only chance of escape.
