Kiana Talaki has spent her entire life learning one lesson: the only person she can rely on is herself. Growing up with a mother who was never really there forced her to mature too quickly. Between rugby league, soccer, and his endless confidence, he's the kind of person Kiana usually avoids. Everything changes when Kiana accidentally launches a soccer ball straight into Jack's head during training. What starts as constant arguments slowly turns into friendship, and friendship turns into something neither of them expected. But Jack soon discovers that caring about Kiana isn't easy.
