Kirstein Springston was a happy and down to earth woman, married to a loving husband named Blake. The happy couple were faced with the task of raising their daughter Kasey and their son Connor, but Blake never wasted a day not assuring Kirstein that they would make it, together.
The day before their anniversary, Blake was driving home after picking up Kirsten's gifts. The stormy couple of days made the roads covered with about an inch of water. Blake was crossing an intersection when another driver tried to run a red light. The rogue driver was unable to stop in time, crashing into Blake's car on the driver's side, killing him instantly.
Kirstein, a new widow, called her childhood friend, Jake Summer. Though he wouldn't fill the hole left by Blake's passing, he would be the one to help Kirstein get back onto her feet.
This is the start of the Springstons.

A baby's cry pierces the air as the midwife passes the baby to the awaiting hands of the father. Damon happily takes the baby from her hands holding her close to his chest not worried about the blood most likely staining his clothes. As quickly as the moment began it was lost, Damon was pushed out of the small room the baby still in his hands. "Stop! Wait! What's going on?" Damon yells trying to get back into the room. That's when he gets a look into the room noticing the many midwives rushing around attaching things to his wife lying on the bed, covered in blood and sweat from just giving birth. "Ruby! Ruby!" Damon yells over the loud cries of the baby in his arms. Damon stops yelling the shock to great. He hears the midwife's declare her dead, the blood loss to severe. In that one lonely moment Damon realizes that he will do everything he can to keep the little girl in his arms safe, no matter the cost. --------- Angels Mother died when she was only a few minutes old leaving her in the hands of her father, the great Damon Salvatore. When disaster strikes. When a horrible fire breaks out. Rini is trapped and caught under piles of rocks and stones on top of her body from pieces of the falling building on top of her and her mother. When her mom kept trying to get her out. she screamed out at her husband who is also a firefighter as well. But he chose to recuse someone else's kid. He left his daughter to die while he recused his mistress's Amber's daughter instead of his own daughter. He assumed that the recuse team would make it to his wife and kid and assumed that Ruby was in more danger then Rini was right now, and he left with someone else and someone else's kid. He didn't even go back to see if his daughter made it out alright, he left her, he left her mother as her daughter screamed out for her daddy to come back. As she was being crushed to death when all her mother could do was cry and hold her the best she could and trying to lift the heavy stone off of her daughter's body. As she screamed out for help from anybody. Until she was recused by a familiar friendly face that's been in her life since the day she married her Husband. But when they reached the hospital, it was far too late to save Rini's life, she was gone leaving behind a brokenhearted mother and Serenity wanted justice for this. Serenity strikes out for revenge and files for divorce and wants to take everything they love. They had taken her daughter from her. Her death happened because her father abandoned Rini for another woman and child who wasn't even trapped or hurt. So, Serenity wants to make Amber pay for everything. Darien too would get what's coming to him. She was pissed and she had no reasons to hold back her own rampage for revenge. So, Serenity strikes out for revenge. Will she ever be able to love again? Or open her heart? again? Read it and see. Tears might be shed; I know I cried writing this to be honest.
