Summer vacation is a time of pure joy for almost everyone. Hearts swell with endless anticipation, and long before the days even arrive, the mind weaves a tapestry of absolute happiness.

​But is this season truly a sanctuary of joy for all? Or does it morph, for some, into a crucible of suffering-a dark and terrifying ordeal?

​Noah was likely one such victim. He could never have foreseen the sheer horror that lay in wait for him in the suffocating shadows of those summer days.

He, too, had sought nothing more than a refuge-a chance to unburden his heavy soul. But both his purpose and the place he chose were cursed, entirely hostile to his plight.

​Yet, what could he have done? He was utterly blind to the insidious nature of this place. Had he crossed paths with such malice before? Or was his own mind fracturing, weaving illusions out of the dark?

​He cannot comprehend what is happening to him. Yet, an icy, paralyzing dread has clamped its jaws around his very soul.
