Aioon Sirisuk thinks competition is pointless. Someone always loses, and someone always gets hurt.

At twenty-three, broke, attending community college, and living with her best friend, she's perfectly find with staying away from the sport that destroyed her life. She has no plans to skate again-until a free skate session brings her face-to-face with the one person she never wanted to see again.

Navya Rao is one of the world's top figure skaters, and for years, Aioon was the only person worth beating. However, when Aioon vanished from the skating world five years ago due to her injury, victories lost their meaning, and Navya lost the drive that made her unstoppable.

Now that Aioon is back, Navya has a new goal.

In a skating world where duos have always been limited to opposite-sex teams, Navya is willing to risk her reputation-and possibly her career-to prove that same-sex pairs belong on the ice. The only problem? She needs a partner.
