Colby has managed to fend for herself for 18 months since the infection. She's killed countless zombies and managed to stay alive all on her own. But a chance encounter in the middle of nowhere seems to change everything for her. Can she risk making friends in this new world?  Or even more than a friend? 

At the same time, there is something different about the undead whom she kills for sport.  The changing nature of the zombies all around them as well as the people she thought she knew brings life threatening decisions for Colby.
