Athena Somerset spent her whole life looking over her shoulder, preparing herself for danger.

So when she is assigned a mission in the mysterious town of Forks, her instincts are on high alert.

At first, everything is fairly normal as she watches over Bella Swan, an odd girl with a magnet for danger. But then things get stranger. She meets a family vampires, monstrous beings she is designed to kill on the spot. But the family are different.
Still, she is wary of them. After all, like her mother said, trusting a monster is like handing them your weapons and locking yourself up, expecting them not to attack you.

One vampire in particular is determined to change her mind.

Twilight x Percy Jackson crossover. An OC not Y/N insert. Jasper is the love interest. No Bella bashing, however her character is more realistic.
