A political marriage causes strife within the turbulent Welsh Royal family. Prince Dafydd's marriage to an English noblewoman would normally be controversial, however her father's crimes against his family may be impossible to overlook.

**This one is set exclusively in Wales. The names therefore may seem hard to pronounce to some readers. Please utilize google to find pronunciations spoken as it's much easier than as read. The simple version of it is this. The welsh ll is pronounced as an exhale, with the tongue in the cheek, creating a 'ch' to 'sh' sound depending on context. The dd is a 'th-t' sound. All 'r's are rolled to some extent depending on region and dialect. It's a soft roll, not a full roll like some romance languages. Joan is called Siwan, the welsh version of the name which is in fact a phonetic spelling of how the name would be said in a welsh accent mimicking a French (essentially, not exactly). Wales obviously is Cymru, and they'd refer to it as such and also the entire book would be spoken in Welsh, so obviously this is fully in English, I'll use English terms for ease of reading**
