Metamorphosis

Jamie, an overwhelmed IT support operator, is thrown into chaos when a sudden epidemic erupts, turning ordinary people into violent, unstable threats. While evacuating with her resourceful and hardened friend Ren, she is forced into increasingly dangerous situations that strip away her sense of normal life and safety.

During a tense stop at a remote petrol station, a confrontation escalates with an infected man, leaving Ren injured and the situation spiralling out of control. In a moment of panic and instinct, Jamie discovers a handgun in the car and, despite her fear and inexperience, uses it to save them both.

Shaken by what she has done, Jamie is left grappling with shock and emotional distress as the two finally secure fuel and escape the collapsing area, marking the beginning of their uncertain survival journey.
