Wings of Fire: Animus Gifted

Several years after the continents had settled into peace, a trio of explorers found an ancient box, hidden deep within the earth. It predated any known artifact found by dragon kind. But what was truly special about the artifact is what lied within...

10 years later, and over 50% of dragons now posses Animus Magic. They're known as the "Animus Gifted", though their powers are not quite as limitless as the original, natural born Animuses before them. A group of the gifted, lead by a mysterious new dragon, created an object that placed limitations to the magic as a whole, preventing it's wide spread abuse.

One of the most promising of the gifted, is a hybrid named Destin. He was hatched around a year after the box's opening, and has been trained within the best established magic school there is! But as the tenth anniversary of the box approaches... it seems that this gift to the world may not have been what it first seemed.
