The Only Place Found

"It starts with silence. Not the kind that's empty, but the kind that hums."

To the people downstairs, I am just background noise. The quiet helper. The person expected to drop everything, clean up the messes, and play a role in a house where my true identity is completely erased. They see a cluttered desk and a glowing PC screen, and they call it a mess.

They don't see that it's a ritual. They don't see that I am building a lifeline.

Guided by a protective, haunting voice inside my head, I begin to write a story about a caravan by a flint-grey sea. A place with no demands. No expectations. Just wind and water. But as the world downstairs grows colder, the sanctuary on the screen grows warmer, pulling me closer to a threshold I can never cross back over.

They will think it's a tragedy. They will look at the room and say I died alone in the dark.

But they only see the shell. They never saw the horizon.
